Post Graduate Academics
2001 -2002, Continuing part-time Masters Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) (Emphasis E-Commerce) student at the University of Phoenix (Scottsdale, Arizona); working toward a master's degree in e-commerce. To date, the coursework has included Marketing Management, Business law and the Regulatory Environment, Statistics for Managers, International Business, Ethical Theory and Business, and Applied Microeconomics (this is a program designed for working professionals).
1999 – 2001, Internship (paid position for two years) Paradise Valley Community College Assistant to the Director of Public Relations & Marketing. The position required 20 hours per week. As Assistant to the Director of Public Relations, my responsibility was interviewing the top-level academic professionals in all PVCC programs, new, present and future. I wrote weekly feature stories and processed all photographs ready for print in the Paradise Valley Community College Perspective newsletter, which was distributed district-wide and made available to all Maricopa Community Colleges’ Executive Administration Offices, Faculty, Students, Staff and the Public. I also taught English (ESL 071 - English as a second language). Moreover, in concert with the internship, I completed a second six-credit-hour internship program at Arizona State University. The internship program was a post-baccalaureate technical writing and English rhetoric and composition certification program.
1999 – Community College Teaching Certificate, State Board of Directors for Community Colleges of Arizona granted Mr. Mueller the Arizona Community College Regular (A.1.a.,lifetime) Teaching Certificate.
1999 – Instructor, I taught ESL-079 (English as a Second Language) in concert with my two-year internship at Paradise Valley Community College.
